SERIES HISTORY

Few rivalries in Cobb County have carried the consistency and intensity of North Cobb vs. Harrison over the last decade. Since 2011, the Warriors hold a 7-4 edge in the series, including wins in 7 of the last 10 meetings dating back to 2012.

During that stretch, North Cobb has outscored the Hoyas 371-232, highlighted by dominant performances in 2012 (48-14), 2013 (46-14), 2014 (49-27), and a 42-14 victory in 2021. Harrison has had its moments, including a thrilling 45-42 win in 2017 and a 25-13 victory in 2016, but the rivalry has largely belonged to the Warriors in recent years.

Tonight adds another chapter to one of Cobb County’s premier matchups — two proud programs, a decade of hard-fought battles, and another opportunity to leave a mark in the rivalry.

SHANE QUEEN ENTERING 21ST SEASON

Since taking over the North Cobb program in 2007, Head Coach Shane Queen has established himself as one of the most respected and successful coaches in Georgia high school football.

Entering his 21st season at North Cobb, Queen is the longest-tenured head coach in Cobb County and currently the winningest active coach in the county. He has accumulated 187 career victories, placing him among the winningest active coaches in the state of Georgia.

Under Queen’s leadership, the Warriors have become a consistent statewide contender, capturing seven region championships, making the state playoffs in 14 of the last 15 seasons, and producing multiple 10-win campaigns and deep postseason runs.
