ELITE

PARENT AGREEMENT

I commit to embody the ELITE ethos of the program.

I will do everything within my power to make sure that my player is on time, properly-equipped, and ready to give their all at every practice and game throughout the season. I understand that if/when unexpected circumstances that may prohibit my player from being prompt/present may arise, I am expected to communicate with a coach at my earliest possible convenience.

I understand that — often times — my attitude will influence the attitude of my student athlete. For this reason, I will strive to be a positive influence in all that I say and do.

I understand that I am expected to remain outside of the fence at all times during both practices and games (unless summoned to the field by the Head Coach). Further, I will not — through my words or actions — allow myself to become a distraction to the coaches or players at any point throughout the season.

I will demonstrate respect toward the players, other parents, opposing teams and their fans, and the coaching staff. If I have a concern, I will bring it to my son’s Head Coach via email so that we can schedule a time to discuss that concern over the phone or in-person. I understand that — under no circumstances — is it acceptable to bring my concern to a coach immediately before, during, or after a game.

I understand that playing football in the North Cobb program is a privilege, not a right. 

By signing this agreement, I recognize that this privilege has been extended to my player and can be taken away as a result of unacceptable behaviors by either myself of my player, including (but not limited to):

  • Failure to fulfill team responsibilities

  • Inappropriate behavior in the school

  • Actions outside the context of school or football program that embarrass the players, coaches, and supporters of our program.  This includes all forms of social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.)

  • Failure to give proper respect to authority

  • Divisive behavior and speech undermining the team   

  • Conduct detrimental to the team (as determined by leadership)
